Rewards are in the eye of the Receiver; no one system or approach is ideal.
How an employee views the company and how they view themselves in a company.
Thorndike Effect = a response that produces a favorable situation is likely to occur again in that situation.
Positive Reinforcement = Reward.
Negative Reinforcement = Punish (fight, flight or freeze).
Using money as an incentive can actually demotivate your workforce.
The goal is to Increase REP: Retention, Engagement, and Productivity.
