The multi-phase Campus Master Plan at Loyola Academy included the demolition of the current aquatic center and new construction of the new state-of-the-art facility. The new facility features a state-of-the art pool and a gathering space inspired by the St. Ignatius Piazza in Rome. The project also included extensive sitework, a parking lot and tennis court reconfigution pedestrian/vehicle access modifications, and streetscape improvements.
The second phase of the project will feature capital improvements across the campus and third phase will include a performing arts center and support space.
