A new manifesto of dance in the time of pandemic.
I started making these Stupid Dances during the quarantine. Visiting areas of the city that are iconic and super popular. What is the city without all the people?
Maybe this is an opportunity to look more closely at what we value. At our obsession with consumerism. What we consider important and why? The narratives of New York City include financial success, the veneer of glamour and the need for attention.
