Get you and your shadow dancing.

A How-To shadow dancing video that invites you to get your shadow dancing.

o You can stop the video at any point, take it at your own pace
o These are a handful of suggestions of how to get your shadow to dance
o Feel free to let your creativity go wild
o Make sure to give your body a shake and wiggle before you start
o For your shadow to appear stand in front of the light, as soon as you go behind the light your shadow will disappear

Share your Shadow Dances
We would love to see how your shadow dances!
Feel free to record your shadow by using your camera, phone or other recording device. Move between the light and the camera so that you can capture your shadow.

Duration: approx 4 mins
Age: 18+
When is best to do this: in the evening or in a room that is dark
Things you need: a flashlight, wall space big enough to fit your shadow, a chair to put your flashlight on, something to record your shadow dance if you want – this could be your phone, a dancing body!
Step 1: Clear a space for you and your shadow to dance
Step 2: Find a working flashlight
Step 3: Place your flashlight on a chair/table/floor facing the wall your shadow will dance on
Step 4: Turn on your flashlight & turn off the main lights to create a stage for your shadow
Step 5: Let’s get your shadow dancing…
